The background, which the artist calls "living matter", is divided into two spheres. The central one, with a material and intense gold, evokes the essential value of human life, which is the constant message of his work. This golden, warm heart is confronted with the grey and black environment, which can be interpreted as the framework of society or the cold structure of technology.
The embossed line (black and white), which symbolizes the consciousness that unites and separates, is presented here in a symmetrical and complex gesture. The two figures face each other and intertwine in a conversation that is at once orderly and turbulent, reinforcing the idea of an inherent duality of contemporary being. The multiplicity of the embossed strokes and their fusion with the gold suggest that identity (the line) is a pattern or structure (the reason) that operates on the emotional basis (the matter).
