In Dialogue of Silence (25x17x4cm), Santiago Fort turns two metal lines into a visual poem about presence and absence. The black and white curves intertwine with an organic fluidity, suggesting two figures that dialogue, observe or reflect each other. Rooted in a wooden base cracked by time, these forms contrast the fragility of natural matter with the industrial solidity of metal. The work, of elegant formal simplicity, opens a space of silence and contemplation where human duality —the self and the other, the step and the footprint— becomes poetic matter.
